As a Wildcat guy to run around 10 plays a game and give the defense a different look, something extra to prepare for, we love it.
Wouldn't you think that Sanchez could learn from Manning, though? I firmly believe in Mark as a QB but you can't deny that he needs improvement across the board.
AnonymousThis would work if there was any way the Jets could feasibly fit both players under the salary cap. Given their current salary cap situation, Sanchez’s contract, the money Peyton will command and their needs at other areas, they can’t have both. It’s one or the other.
Agreed that Sanchez has a lot to improve on, but so does just about every QB just 3 seasons into the league. Look back at Namath, Manning - Eli or Peyton - just about everybody.

We are firmly on Team Sanchez. White GQ pants picture and all. A little over a year ago, a 24-year old kid stood on the sideline in the house that Peyton built and watched a 34-year old Manning drive the Colts down for the go-ahead field goal with less than a minute left on the clock.
That 24-year old stared down the barrel, went 3-3 on the drive and set up a 32-yard Nick Folk field goal. The following week, he went up to Massachusetts and threw 3 TDs and no interceptions in what is the biggest win in franchise history since Super Bowl III. That victory gave him the record for most playoff wins in franchise history.
Yet they say he hasn’t shown anything.
The 24-year old is now 25, the 24-year old is now 35. 10-year window or two-year window?
Take your pick.

REX RYAN: WE HAVE SCARS BUT DARE TO BE GREAT
Rex Ryan spoke today at a luncheon in Long Island and addressed the impact from 2011’s disappointment.
“Anybody that’s successful, you have scars. We got some scars this year from this (8-8 record). Anybody who doesn’t have scars is either lying to you or never dared. One thing about us: We dare. We put it out there — I put it out there — that we want to be great.”
